Hello Guys!

I'm #Ahsan From #Pakistan

Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their lives. For the past two days, I have been quite busy, due to which I have not been very active on this platform. So today I am going to describe my situation on the day when the elections were held in Pakistan. That was the 8th of February I hope you guys like it.

My morning I started with my breakfast. In which I had a cup of tea with biscuits and nutritious eggs. Boiled in eggs, they were very tasty. With that, I had my breakfast and started my day.

Since it was February 8, there was an election epidemic everywhere. Everyone was going to their nearest polling station to cast their vote. I also left my house so that I could see how people were gathered and which party they were supporting more. So I went there and saw that different people were sitting there to support their respective parties and there they were making a slip on which we wrote our household number, our serial number our ID card number etc. It has to be written. And we take it inside the polling station and tell them our serial number and they verify us by looking at our name on the diary they have and by looking at our photo. And put our thumb there.

I also made my name slip from there on which all my details were written. And after that, I made a slip for the rest of my family on which all the names were written. Everyone's household number and vote number were written, so after making everyone's slip, I came home and gave everyone their slip so that they could take their slip with them whenever they go so that they don't have to stand in line.

After that, I took my brother along and we went to the polling station and found that my brother's ID card was left in Sahiwal which was about 25 km away from us. Because my brother used to work there, he came on leave because of the election so that he could cast his vote. But when I saw that his original ID card was left there, I told him that there was nothing to worry about. So I stood him outside and went inside myself.

Going inside, there was a small line, along with which I also stood. And when it was my turn, I got my name verified there and put my thumb in front of my picture. And after that, I took my ballot paper from them on which I had to stamp my favorite party.

In no time I found both the ballot papers there. 1 of the Provincial Assembly and one of the National Assembly. On both of them, I had to stamp my favorite candidate. I had to seal it. And with it, I dipped my seal and it in ink, and then went with it to the dice.

There I stamped my favorite candidate which you can see in the picture who was my favorite candidate. So after sealing there, I came out and came to my brother.

Then I took my brother along and went straight to my aunt's house which is in Sahiwal where my brother works. Because at night my brother stays with his aunt and he left his wallet there. So we went straight to my aunt's house and quickly picked up the wallet which had the ID card and came straight back and got my brother's vote cast.

By this time, a lot of time had passed, so we took my family with us and made them cast their votes too so that they could also cast their votes on their own time because the time was up to five o'clock, after which the polling station would be closed. and the counting starts so that the vote cannot be cast later.

Then in the evening, I reached where the polling station was built. That polling station was built in the Government Girls High School of our village, so when I went there, I saw that many people had gathered outside to listen to the results, standing in their groups. And we're waiting for when the results will come and we will know the condition of our party.

We found out that the result was a little late so we thought why not stand here and eat chips? Because there was a shop nearby that was making potato chips. So we went over there and bought chips from him and stood there and friends ate chips.

Soon there was an announcement that a party had won, the party that won from our village but lost from the overall constituency, due to which he could not become the MNA of this place. So the party we chose lost in our village but won overall. So we were pleased about it and came to our respective homes.

As soon as I reached home, I saw that my mother had cooked rice. And potato shami was made with it. And I had Rita with it which was very tasty so we all sat down and ate it.

This is how we spent our day which was the 8th of February. And it was our election day so I hope you guys like it. See you in the next post till then Allah Hafiz.

Regards: Ahsan
