Shakib Al Hasan shines in West Indies. His fourth half-century in the T20 World Cup brought Bangladesh a collection worth fighting for. They scored 159 runs for 5 wickets. But the Netherlands fought hard till 15 overs. Vikramjit Singh and Sybrand Engelbrecht became a nightmare for Bangladesh. Mahmudullah brought the first breakthrough, sending Vikramjit back. Then Engelbrecht became a thorn in the way of batting at Markut. The Dutch need 56 runs in the last 6 overs with 7 wickets in hand. In the 15th over, Rishad Hossain took the ball and changed the momentum of the match. He cheered Bangladesh who were on the backfoot. In that over, Engelbrecht was dismissed, Bas de Lied was stumped with a break. Shakib Al Hasan gave only 5 runs in the next over. Mostafizur Rahman then took one wicket with just 1 run. Rishad came back and took another wicket. Netherlands scored 111 runs for 3 wickets and lost 7 wickets for 117 runs. The victory of Bangladesh was a matter of time

Netherlands needed 36 runs in the last two overs. Mostafiz gave only 3 runs in the 19th over. Taskin hit Ahmed for a four off the fourth ball but that only narrowed the gap. The Bangladeshi pacer bowled Tim Pringle off the last ball. Not more than 7 runs in that over. Bangladesh won by 25 runs by stopping the Dutch at 134 runs for 8 wickets.

He gave 30 runs with 13 dots.Bangladesh won two of the three matches and placed one foot in the Super Eight. They will play the last match against Nepal.

Bangladesh has reached the second position in 'D' group with four points. Netherlands third with 2 points. On Monday, they will play their last match against Sri Lanka, who have already been eliminated. On the same day, Bangladesh will play against Nepal, if they win, they will advance to the Super Eight. Even if they lose to Nepal and the Netherlands fail to win against Sri Lanka, Bangladesh will go through to the next round.

However, if Bangladesh loses the last match and the Netherlands loses to the Lankans, the two teams' points will be equal, in which case the net run rate will determine who will go to the Super Eight.
