Can't we all just get along?!

Introducing Multi-network, Aggregated Commenting

Typically, streaming sites like Youtube, Bitchute, Odysee, Rumble, Spotify and others require you to login with their network only for Commenting and Likes.

That's called a... 🧱Walled Garden🧱

If you haven't checked out the streams on Peerhub-powered sites like Vigilante.tv, Blurt.media, or Cast.Garden yet (amongst others), you should.

User-engagement is everything

As you can see above, when videos or podcasts have an active comment section, it results in more sharing of it, more views, and even more income. Users that leave nice comments can even receive tip$$ just like the Creator.

Chat in real-time with people on other networks

There is literally no other streaming site in the world that allows people from multiple networks to chat with each other, let alone in real-time.

This is why video and podcast Creators are leaving those old web2 Walled Gardens. By running your own Peerhub-powered site, you get massive syndication of your streams to hundreds of other websites, communities, apps and even RSS feeds.

Welcome to the REAL Web3!

By the way...
We also help to secure the network, so PLEASE consider voting for our Witness node! It's called "agorise-witness"

Thank you for helping me get started with Blurt.media I have posted about a half dozen videos so far and the last one appears to be stuck processing and has not posted to the Blurt.media account after about 30 minutes now, what would you recommend for troubleshooting next steps? https://blurt.media/w/9wHo4oQbjzGRAerCVhKmXA

Good news, it just finished processing & posted a few minutes ago 🖖

It's pretty easy if you've uploaded videos anywhere before. Good features, not a lot of bugs, getting better all the time.
But I'm not sure what this post is about. Encouraging people to have an active comment section, I suppose? That would be nice, but I rarely get comments about my videos, so there's not much to reply to. I can't see what's circled in the image on this post.
Also not sure how to take advantage of "people from multiple networks to chat with each other, let alone in real-time"... or even really what that means.
I am but a simple content-creator : ))

Yep, I know what you mean about the image being hard to see. Beblurt and blurtblog both compressed the hell out of the image and won't let you see the original. We also posted the image here if you want to have a look at it:

By the way, you mentioned bugs, so if you find any at all, please let us know, thank you! :)

You seem to get the bugs just as fast as they can spawn! But I will look for anything that pops up and let you know right away.

Where are your videos? I’m prob not getting it right as all I see is videos from the same 4 users

By the way have you thought of making blurt media so it doesn’t have a 7 day payout cut off. I think this is the main gift of YouTube that a lot of the videos I took last summer for example are taking off now and have some form of passive income when you build a library. This has always been one of the biggest issues with these platforms I feel that you invest a lot of time in a post or video and then only have a seven day window for it to pay out. Realistically you can’t build anything that way so these platforms end up with very mediocre content for the most part as it’s not seen as an investment. Eventually on YouTube when you build up enough residual you can then invest it in an equipment / travel / blah blah. I don’t think this is every possible rly with one off week payment windows. Just a thought :)

Yes, I have been designing a method that will combine the tipping (see the spinning giftbox on blurtmedia) and upvote buttons. This way, everyone who upvotes, regardless of which network you use, will increment the upvote counter by 1, giving the video more exposure, monetize the video via BP and/or HP within the 7 day window, and provide a Tip Me option so the user can also send the Creator more or another crypto altogether like BTC, BCH, XMR, etc which gets instantly converted into Blurt for the Creator (hence putting buying pressure on the blurt coin, raising its price).

You are the first to hear about this, but we are quietly working on a product called mBridge which does the auto-buying of Blurt for the above scenario in the background and removing reliance on centralised exchanges completely.

Anyway, there will be a user settings screen where defaults can be set too so that each upvote can be $1, or $5 or whatever amount the user sets it to so they don't have to keep confirming each time they upvote someone. I haven't got wallet specifics completely figured out yet, but I am working on it.

This way, Creators who upload feature length films, documentaries and such can earn real passive income forever.

That sounds great nice to see continual progress

For some reason I only see a handful of videos and hardly any comments or users.
