A Journey to My Uncle's Village: Driving, Food, and Family Time

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their lives. Like every day, the day also started at five o'clock when he got up and prayed. And thank Allah for giving us a good and new morning again. After that I usually go for a walk, so for a walk, I go to the fields near me. After seeing the greenery there and enjoying the cool morning air, I spend my day very calmly. So at that time, the cool air is blowing, the sun is rising, and the birds are chirping, which makes for a very beautiful scene. During this time I walk there and after walking I return to my house.

Today was special for me because I had to go to my uncle's house. The house where I have never been before today I used to go only in the morning and come back in the evening. But now I was going to stay there for a day or two and enjoy myself with these people. And to see and understand the place there and to visit all the famous places around them.

To go there I first had my breakfast and then got ready. After getting ready, I left for my aunt's house which is about 30 to 35 km from me. And I went there on my bike.

It is a distance of 30 to 35 km I covered in about 40 to 50 minutes. After covering this distance I reached my maternal uncle's village which is 62 EB. As soon as I reached there, they already knew about my arrival because my mother had told my uncle that I was going to their house that day. So they had already arranged to receive me.

As soon as I got there they were overjoyed to meet me. Today was the first time I came to stay with them, so they welcomed me with a lot of love and affection and gave me water as much as I wanted after that they prepared food, and they made biryani in the food. Which is my all-time favorite so I enjoyed with this Biryani.

My main purpose of going there was that they had a car and I went to drive that car. In the last few days, I learned to drive from Sahiwal City near the traffic police and got a certificate from there. So I wanted to practice driving my car now. So the more we practice, the more driving we will get. If we leave it once we learn it, then it will forget us, and we will not have experience. Therefore, my main purpose was to drive there and see that they had a Mehran car. As soon as we finished eating, my uncle said, "Apathy, now think about the car, what to do, when to drive." I told them no problem we are going now me and my cousin went to the car. I saw that there was less petrol in it then I told him that first we bring petrol and park here and put it in it so that we don't have to face any problem later.

We took two bottles and went straight to the petrol pump. From there we took six liters of petrol so that once we put that petrol in our car we can drive it and later we will bring it to the petrol pump and fill it up again. So we got petrol from there and put it in the car and started rooting the car.

While driving we reached a small base where a very beautiful place was built. A canal was running on the side and cots and chairs were placed on the bank of the canal. Across this road, there was a bakery which was a very famous bakery called Bhatti Bakery because they named this bakery after their caste. There were all kinds of things from cold drinks to chocolates and likewise, we had fast food. We took samosas and pakoras from there and alongside we took cooldrinks and then we went to one side and sat.

Eating here in the open air was like eating in a five-star hotel. Because there were light clouds, the wind was blowing and there was a small stream nearby that was passing by us. Due to this the cold air was coming and it was a very beautiful scene, we sat there and enjoyed these samosas.

We enjoyed sitting there for some time and then we left for our home. But as soon as we reached the road, our car would start misfiring, our car would sometimes stop, sometimes start, sometimes stop, sometimes start. So she started taking more shocks and we couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. Then we parked the car on one side and saw that its petrol is not low. Checked the petrol and it was full but still, it was missing.

As soon as she was missing we started her and gradually we brought her to a workshop. When we brought it there and got it checked, he told us that there was a problem with its plug, which was getting shocks due to garbage, due to which the current was not passing fully. We asked him what could be the solution and he said we will see if it works then ok if not then you will have to take his cut new and have a 19th. They tried a lot but it was not set then they told us to bring a kit of it from the market, we brought a kit worth five thousand rupees from the market. And got that kit changed and then went and got our car set up and running smoothly.

During this time, it had been a long time since we had left the house, we had gone a long way while driving, and from there we had samosas, etc., and got our car fixed, then we reached home around evening.

As soon as we reached home, we found my uncle checking why his AC was making noise. They had installed the AC new because of which they had not cleaned the mesh inside it. If it is not cleaned after four to five days, a lot of dust accumulates inside it, due to which the air does not cross, then the sound starts coming from inside it. I told them that you have cleaned its nets, so they told me that no, we don't know where they are from and where they are. Then I told them to clean their nets after three to four days because they act as a filter. To keep the air clean, I then took the nets out, told them how to take them out, and told them to wash them and put them back on, so they started running properly again.

It was evening, usually when I am in my house, I go to the ground near me in the evening. When both football and cricket are played, I enjoy playing football. Similarly today I said to my cousin that you take me to the ground near you, I also want to see what kind of ground you have. Their ground was attached to the primary school, so we went to school there. After going there, I saw that there was a football ground and they had made a cricket pitch inside it. At the time we could play only one game there either cricket or football so when we reached there we saw that people were playing cricket.

We also stood there for some time and saw the people how they play cricket. I judged that some very good cricket teams were not there. After inquiring with his cousin, he found out that the real team had gone to their homes after practicing from here. These guys are just playing cricket so then I realized that the game has a lot of trend here. Some people who have gone back after playing cricket are still practicing.

On the other hand, when we came towards the school building, we saw that a very beautiful building had been built. And many flowers were planted in front of the building which adds to the beauty. But there I saw a tree which was very old which we can call a cypress tree or we can call it a peacock feather. In Pakistan, it has two names, one is cypress and the other is peacock feather, so I have seen these trees a lot. Because usually they are present in government buildings, it is also present in our house. But I have not seen him as tall as he was in this school.

The maximum height I have seen is six to seven feet, but here it was as tall as a common tree. I asked my cousin why this tree is so big and he told me that it is a very old tree. It's been planted here ever since I've been looking, which is why it's grown so big.

The day was breaking, the evening was coming, and we returned to our house from there. As soon as we reached home, at home my aunt prepared for us sweet suya which she prepared by adding milk. And this is my favorite dish because I like sweets a lot so these needles also touch my heart. We sat down and enjoyed the needles which were made in milk and later chilled in the fridge.
