Hi everyone, Sharing our ventures last weekend. Me and my husband always see to it that we unwind every weekend. For him to cut off the stressors from work and for me to connect with the outside world and breathe some fresh air because I used to stay at home. We went to the beach that's near to us, it's a 15-minute drive away from our place. We left the flat at around 3 in the afternoon after all our Saturday routine was done. When we arrived many campers were already there. We need to find a good spot to chill and for my hubby for his fishing and bingo, we found one.
My husband settled to his spot and cast his line into the water, a quiet rhythm to his movement. He focused on his fishing rod and the occasional whiz of the line to check his catch. While sitting and holding his fishing rod I saw him immersed in the calm of the moment, the peaceful escape that made it easy to forget the busy week he had. There's no rush here, no pressure.
While I take the view, there's something undeniably peaceful about being by the water. The way the tranquility of the ocean wraps around me allowing to embrace the beauty of nature. The sun begins to set, painting the sky in shades of gold and amber. The transformation was amazing. I sat beside my husband, still waiting for the catch, but unlucky for that day he didn't catch a single fish, and seemed to be in no mood to bite the bait. It doesn't matter, though. No fish but we caught something far more valuable, the perfect escape, where time slows down and every moment is enough just as it is. The beauty of shared time, the calm nature and the serenity we found in being together.
