Hello, friends!
My name is Anliza Pasaje. I’m 40 years old, originally from Davao City, the Durian Capital of the Philippines. Now, I live in Malaysia with my wonderful husband and our five children. Life has been a beautiful adventure here, filled with love and joy. I have a deep passion for playing the guitar, baking cupcakes, and, most of all, spending time with my kids. One of our favorite ways to bond is by swimming together every evening. It's a simple yet meaningful routine that brings us closer, and it's something I cherish deeply.
Motherhood, to me, is a transformative journey. From the moment I became a mother, everything changed. My children are my greatest joy—each one is unique, adorable, and full of life. Being their mother means being their trusted companion and supporting them through every challenge. Whether it's helping them with daily tasks or guiding them through life’s difficulties, my love for them is constant. As a mother, I am constantly learning alongside my children. I take on the responsibilities of both home and work, all while striving to be the best version of myself. It’s not always easy, but my children are my greatest motivators. They inspire me to overcome obstacles, both in my personal life and professional career.
One of the things we all love as a family is swimming. It's amazing to see how much my children have grown. My 19, 15, 10, and 3-year-olds can all swim, and it’s been such a joy to see them develop this skill. My 2-year-old is still learning, but they are making progress every day! They’ve never taken formal swimming lessons—it's my husband who taught me how to swim, and once we had children, he passed on that knowledge to them as well. It's such a special family tradition, and it strengthens our bond. When we’re not swimming, we enjoy watching movies together as a family, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Through love, patience, discipline, guidance, and even tears, my husband and I work hard to build a solid foundation for our family. Every action we take as parents is aimed at shaping our children into individuals of integrity, kindness, and strength. I encourage them to embrace experiences that build their character and create an environment where they can grow naturally and confidently. Of course, being a mother means sometimes having to make tough decisions. I believe in discipline and know that there are times when I need to be firm with my children—whether that’s denying them certain privileges, setting boundaries, or even using physical punishment. However, they know that my heart is always filled with love and compassion. My deepest wish is for them to thrive, be free from shortcomings, and for their well-being to always come first.
