The media these days loves to hail heroes from anywhere that they do good. Though they are certainly wonderful people, a hero is traditionally someone who accomplishes something amazing.
The term "hero" comes from the ancient Greek word "heros," which meant "one who protects." Though the concept of a hero has changed over time, these historical foundations are still important today.

Describe a true hero.
By definition, a hero must perform deeds that most people would not do. Because they were demigods of both gods and humans, those with superhuman skills were referred to be heroes in ancient literature. Heroes, such as Achilles, were impervious to injury or possessed extraordinary strength, like Hercules. Academics point out that the heroes in these old tales were men who aspired to grandeur.

Although their heroic actions occasionally brought benefits to individuals or communities, the motivation behind ancient heroes was not that. These days, a hero is different in two ways. The modern hero has no conception of divine parentage; he is simply mortal. The modern hero must also act in a way that benefits others.

They possess some or all of the following characteristics that are commonly used to define heroes.

1 . Idealistic
Heroes find strength in the conviction that their principles are right. They consider their beliefs to be a positive influence on the world. Even in the face of physical danger, personal loss, and criticism, they will defend their ideas.

Having a strong moral code and being idealistic are usually related. A hero may be motivated to act by a strong moral compass, believing that doing nothing would be wrong.

2 . Brave
You naturally anticipate bravery from a hero. One of the most recognizable traits of a hero that people look for is courage. Being fearless is only one aspect of this quality. More precisely, it refers to exhibiting bravery in the face of dread. When faced with danger or impossibility, a brave individual chooses to face their fear and take a chance.

3 . High Empathy Capacity
A hero is someone who has empathy for other people. They are sensitive to other people's pain and desire to assist them. We refer to this ability as empathy. It transcends empathy, which is the comprehension of another person's feelings. Being sympathetic allows you to feel the same feelings as people who are struggling.
