Our society is a part of us. We are all valuable contributors to society in some way. We are referred to as resources because of this; we are human resources. We are industrious creatures with a wide range of abilities. We have progressed this far because of that!
However, human behavior is unique. It can be quite challenging to comprehend or affect. Regardless of the various positions we play in life—parents, employers, instructors, managers, coaches, and so on—we all have an important duty to maximize the potential of those around us, including our subordinates, kids, and students.
Individuals are naturally productive since they all have something worthwhile to contribute. But it's also in our nature to experience laziness, lack of enthusiasm, and general lack of motivation from time to time. Inappropriate usage of one of the most crucial resources could have negative effects on society as a whole.
Numerous investigations have been carried out to determine the exact factors that inspire people. Numerous psychologists have each put forth their unique methods. There are many of them, but the one that contrasts rewards and punishments—also referred to as carrots and sticks—seems to be the most intriguing.
These are essentially two different approaches to inspiring others. One instills dread by rewarding people for their efforts and accomplishments, while the other penalizes mistakes. The following time, we would go into motivation through rewards in more detail.
