Current Research: In a number of animal-tested studies, researchers have been examining the telepathic potential of brain implants. The most advanced technology is typically tested on animals before being made available for human testing.

Three monkeys were housed in three distinct rooms for one of these studies. These monkeys were all linked together by means of separate brain implants. They offered the monkeys a task that they could only finish if they cooperated in order to test the tech's effectiveness.

This would demonstrate that, indeed, the monkeys were able to converse with one another through the three rooms. They needed to cooperate in order to manipulate a virtual arm that was displayed on the screen. Ultimately, they succeeded in this job, demonstrating that the monkeys had truly synchronized their brain activity to finish it.

Not only did a comparable experiment on mice yield encouraging results, but another trial involving humans was conducted using EEG caps rather than brain implants.

Consequences
This technology has the potential to revolutionize everything, thus its repercussions will be enormous. Simple communication processes like voice calls and chats will no longer require cellphones and computers.

This will just do a ton of things. With just a brain implant and an internet connection, two people might have brain-to-brain communication! No laptops, phones, or anything else are needed.

This has significant implications for disabled individuals as well, as it allows them to express themselves without the need to write or talk. Additionally, since they could use only their brains to run computers, it would be incredibly simple for them to do so.

Although a comprehensive all-in solution is still a long way off, the concept is already in place and is being developed. Although there is still much we don't know about our own brains, technological improvements will undoubtedly make it easier for us to completely comprehend and benefit from our knowledge in the future.
