That is the most important thing I have ever learned in life. I didn't realize that for almost some years. To have no expectations from anybody! not to take for granted that someone would repay me a favor or assist me in the same way that I have assisted them. Nothing at all! Nothing!
While some people never find this path and continue to let other people affect their chances of happiness, others do discover it sooner in life.
Expectations and happiness are closely related to one another. When you create expectations, you can prepare and set goals and do everything else. You think everything will work out the way you want it to, as though there are no surprises in life.
Expectation is never relevant from a scientific standpoint. You are looking at facts since there are no expectations present, and facts are what lead to a conclusion. The facts determine the conclusion. You become immobile when you have expectations. Because you have an aim in mind and that's what you expect to happen, the outcome is therefore fixed. You cannot truly hope to be happy when you allow your feelings to control the situation.
Not until I reached my lowest point did I truly understand what all of it meant. People do change. Expect nothing good from any man that you may be happy!!!
