I know this is natural in humans, but the pretentious life we are living is just too much. It baffles me when I think about certain things about our way of life.
I wouldn't want to waste your time beating around the bush; let me give you the instances that are choking my thoughts.
A few days ago, we were given a contest in one of the communities on this blockchain: we were to write about our toxic relationship experiences.
For sure, we knew the takes and expectations, which were delivered on good notes. I wrote mine and took my time to read a series of other people's work, and I was not surprised because we were all pointing at the same thing, such as;
- As a guy, it's not good to raise your hand at a lady.
- As a lady, you're a fool if you stay in a relationship where you're being beaten.
- Guys said, "I haven't raised my hands on a lady before."
Ladies said, "I can't stand it; I'd call off the relationship once he beats me."
All the entries indicated that all the guys that wrote are not women beating, while all the ladies said they haven't been beaten in a relationship before.
So, let's say 100 guys participated in the contest. Does that mean that these 100 guys are cool-headed??
Let me spread it a bit further.
It'll interest you to know that if this contest is open to all the guys in this Hive blockchain, you'll see that all the guys will claim cool heads, yeah, all of us!
If we are all cool-headed? Where do the radical people live? They're not on HIVE, right? Lol🤣
Another example
If you gather everyone in a particular country and ask those that have been involved in any theft to move aside, you'll see that everyone will appear righteous; they will claim not to have stolen anything before...not even meat from mommy's pot.
If no one in that country has been involved in stealing, then who are those that have been stealing in that country? Foreigners? Lol
I know we are humans, but sometimes just know that no one will flog you for being yourself, especially in a virtual world like this.
I know I'm not a good person, but there are things I say as they are, not covering up to have a sweet name.
If you ask whether I've had s3x before, I would tell you the truth, whether you believe it or not because you're not going to whip me
You want to know the truth? The answer is NO, I HAVEN'T HAD S3X. I know you won't believe it.
Now it's your turn...have you had s3x before? I know you're going to lie.
