Good morning, dear friends, and welcome to another wonderful day in your presence. Thank you for joining me in this morning's inspiring word. Let's quickly see what's in today's package 🎁

A vivid representation of a child of God emerging from the early stages of being a follower of Jesus is a weaned newborn. A youngster that is weaning is still in the safety of their caregiver's arms and has not yet ventured into the unknown. Some babies postpone transitioning to the next stage of growth during the weaning process, which goes against what is healthy for the child. A weaned baby, on the other hand, can still benefit from the stability of a mother's presence together with the peace of mind that comes with confidence in the shift from nursing milk to solid food. A weaned animal is one that is eager to expand.

You receive the first serving of God's word as nourishment for your soul when you are born again into the family of faith of following Jesus. But eventually, as the Scriptures say (Hebrews 5:13–14), you go from the milk to the meat. Some people take longer than others to wean. It might take more time for people who come to believe in Christ later in life to wean themselves off of the world's influence.

God's Spirit works within you as you give up your desires and allow His love and grace to shape your character. The path to spiritual development is not about hiding who you are, but about realizing who you are in Christ. Releasing oneself from worldly cravings allows God to work more deeply in your life and shapes you into a vessel of His glory and purpose. The weaned soul is fed by the love of God!

"Sing to the LORD a new song—His praise in the assembly of the godly. Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King. Let them praise His name with dancing, and make music to Him with tambourine and harp. For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He adorns the afflicted with salvation." - Psalm 149:1-4"

Wishing you a lovely day

God's Spirit works within you as you give up your desires and allow His love and grace to shape your character.

But...but...but...He gave you the desires - did he not ? (by the christian definitions of 'man being made in the image of god'.)

This is not an all benevolent god (as preached by Christianity) - it's sadistic, by definition.

Imagine an all knowing, all powerful being, then designing a living organism to suffer all their lives?
Some benevolence...
