Good morning, dear friends, and welcome to another beautiful new week.
(Today's verse Read Psalm 121:5-6)
We are kept by the Lord. No one will ever be able to take us from our Father's grasp because we are His. His fingers are securely closed around us. Our protector is him. His staff and rod provide us with security and comfort in the valley of the shadow of death. He is always and forever with us, so we need not be afraid. He is the one who provides for us. He guides us into verdant meadows and permits us to relax by peaceful rivers at times of famine and drought. We eat the food that He provides us, even in the face of threats from adversaries.
He is our protector and the source of all good things. Our glasses overflow with joy as he pours the oil of joy over our sagging heads. Throughout our life, His kindness and generosity will pursue us until we eventually arrive at our eternal home with Him. We can put our hearts in His care. Our family and our futures can be confidently entrusted to His loving care. He won't let us go and will keep coming after us until He is the focal point of our existence, our hearts are focused on Him, and our eyes are riveted on Him. He engages in keep-playing!
"Sing to the LORD a new song—His praise in the assembly of the godly. Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King. Let them praise His name with dancing, and make music to Him with tambourine and harp. For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He adorns the afflicted with salvation." - Psalm 149:1-4"
