Good morning, dear friends, and welcome to another beautiful new week.
(Today's verse Read Romans 15:13)
There is reason to be hopeful as long as we are able to breathe. Even our God can! Although we cannot explain, govern, or control how He acts and operates on our behalf, we may be sure that He will always succeed. If we call upon Him, He will come to our aid. He would drag a kid in a basket down the Nile River in order to overthrow a powerful pharaoh. In front of us, he might lead a shepherd who is holding a smooth stone to defeat the giant.
He might guide a ram up a mountainside so that he can tangle his horns in a dense forest. He has already given the most priceless present of all, a baby laying in a hay manger with swaddling garments on. Jehovah Jireh will deliver us, we can be sure of that! There was a time when we lived without God and without hope. We had never heard of the covenants of promise. However, it was Jesus Christ's blood that allowed us to enter that wonderful kingdom of light and that lovely circle. Praise be!
The Lord is pleased with people who trust in His kindness. There will never be any disappointment for anyone who puts their hope in Him.
"Sing to the LORD a new song—His praise in the assembly of the godly. Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King. Let them praise His name with dancing, and make music to Him with tambourine and harp. For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He adorns the afflicted with salvation." - Psalm 149:1-4"
