Hace mucho que no venía a escribir aquí. Mis compromisos han sido abundantes y necesarios para resolver asuntos importantes en la vida. Justo ahora, me encuentro en Venezuela porque mi hija mejor va a ser mamá.
Es muy emocionante para mí, y también para ella, porque su primera experiencia, y como madre que soy, creo que debo encargarme de ayudarla en todo cuanto sea necesario, desde enseñarle a cuidar a su bebé, a cuidarse ella misma mientras está cumpliendo su cuarentena y con los quehaceres de la casa.
Justo ahora estamos en la semana 38 de gestación, lo que quiere decir es que falta muy poco para que tengamos en los brazos a ese ser que hemos esperado por tantos meses.
It's been a long time since I came to write here. My commitments have been abundant and necessary to resolve important issues in life. Right now, I am in Venezuela because my daughter is going to be a mother.
It is very exciting for me, and also for her, because it is her first experience, and as the mother that I am, I think that I should be in charge of helping her in everything necessary, from teaching her how to take care of her baby, to taking care of herself while she is fulfilling her quarantine and with housework.
Right now we are in the 38th week of gestation, which means that there is very little left until we will have in our arms that being that we have waited for so many months.
En su trabajo, todos están emocionados por la llegada de Gemma a este mundo, tanto, que le regalaron muchas cosas para la bebé; Pañales desechables, perfumes, aceites, hisopos, juguetes, una andadera y una silla para comer. Claro está que hay cosas que no usará de inmediato, pero cuando las necesite, ya estarán disponibles en la casa.
Este fue un regalo sorpresa del equipo de trabajo antes de que le dieran los días libres de preparto.
At work, everyone is excited about Gemma's arrival into this world, so much so that they give her many things for the baby; Disposable diapers, perfumes, oils, Q-tips, toys, a walker, and a high chair. Of course, there are things that she won't use right away, but when she needs them, they will already be available in the house.
This was a surprise gift from the work team before they gave her the days off for pre-birth.
Hoy fuimos a un chequeo de rutina ala clínica y espero que todo esté bien, aunque, todo hasta ahora ha salido bien y no ha habido ninguna complicación hasta el momento, y estamos confiados de que no las habrá.
Today we went for a routine checkup at the clinic and I hope everything is fine, although, so far everything has gone well and there have not been any complications so far, and we are confident that there will not be any.
