Hola aquí de nuevo con una publicación, que será por la cercanía de la navidad, a muchos nos llega como la melancolía, nos llenamos de recuerdos bonitos como tristes, si yo que estoy en mi país me siento a veces así, como se sentirán los que están fuera, que se fueron por necesidad no por gusto o placer, poque de ser así viaja la familia completa, unas vacaciones y regresan.
Pero si hay muchas cosas que extraño de mi país, sea navidad, carnaval, semana santa, sea la época que sea.

1.- Hacer un buen mercado: si antes uno iba a los super hacer sus mercados, de agarrar un carrito, empezar las compras, hacíamos las lista con los víveres, frutas, carnes, lo que se iba a comprar, mas que todo si era uno de los supermercados que lo tienen todo, se pasaba horas, buscando las ofertas, comparando los precios, porque ejemplo el arroz, habían tantas marcas pero uno buscaba el mejor y si estaba en oferta mucho mejor. Yo me iba con mi calculadora, iba sacando cuenta para no pasarme. Las colas con los tikets en charcutería, carnicería o pescadería, si pasaban el numero y no estabas debías agarrar otro numeros, por eso en ocasiones empezaba por estos.

2.- Ir al cine con mis hijos: ir al cine era un viaje y una aventura, porque el mas cercano quedaba en Puerto Ordaz, si en mi ciudad hace muchos años que no hay cine. El día que decidíamos ir, había que levantarse temprano, desayunar, vestirnos e irnos al terminal de pasajero, para tomar el bus rumbo a Puerto Ordaz, que lo bueno es que el terminal aca queda cerca de Orinokia Mall, que es donde están las salas de Cines Unidos. Pero no solo era e or a ver películas, también paseábamos aunque sea para ver las tiendas, almorzábamos, luego ver la película, al salir la merienda unos ricos helados, después a caminar rápido para el terminal para agarrar el bus de regreso, para no llegar tan noche a nuestra ciudad.

But it was not only to watch movies, we also went for a walk, even if it was just to see the stores, we had lunch, then we watched the movie, after the snack we had some delicious ice cream, then we walked quickly to the terminal to take the bus back, so as not to arrive so late at night to our city.
3.- Hacer parrilladas en la familia, que era algo que nos unía un domingo o en algún cumpleaños u otra fecha especial, nos poníamos de acuerdo, en lo que cada quien iba a traer desde lo que se iba a comer, beber y lo de picotear mientras estaba la parrilla, esta la hacíamos en el fundo, mi hermana venia desde Puerto Ordaz con su esposo e hijo, yo aun estaba casada y también nos íbamos para alla y mi papa también estaba con vida, pero esta situación es terrible si hasta para comerse un arroz con pollo sencillo es costoso, imagínate una buena parrilla que llevan todo: la carne, pollo, chuleta de cochino, morcilla, chinchurria, chorizo…ya me dio hasta hambre y la yuca con su mojito o el que quería picante le ponía, yo no, no me gusta la comida picante.

Y asi como estas cosas hay muchas mas que extraño de mi bello país, que ojala se que no volverá a ser la de antes, pero que por lo menos podamos llevar una vida mas tranquila, que podamos tener para las cosas y no vivir tan limitados.
