Doesn't that plant have thorns? There are many plants like that growing wild in my place. We call it "putri malu". Putri means princess in English and malu means shy in English.

Maybe it's because it curls its leaves when touched, hence the name. Like a princess who is shy when touched by others.

I like the name though 🥰

Yes, in my place this plant is also believed to have medicinal properties. But not many people use it. The few people I know use it as animal feed. Even though there are thorns, goats or cows can still eat with gusto.

I think when it’s a bit bigger I’m going to make a tea as your right!
