This YouTube short video of mine showcases video shots taken by my husband, Sunil, when we visited the Virupaksha Temple at the world-famous heritage site of Hampi, South India, some time back. You will also see a lovely female elephant in this video. Her name is Lakshmi, and she is the sacred elephant of the Virupaksha Temple. She is very gentle and friendly, and she blesses those devotees who offer her bananas and money by placing her trunk gently on the heads of those devotees!
