Buying gifts that are not useful and inner child healing

in blurt-1609343 •  9 months ago

It’s my birthday this week and I found myself treating myself to some totally useless but cute gifts from flying tiger 🐅 and realised how good and healing this is for our inner child. When I was a kid my parents were very generous but only with useful things like computers or maybe trips. They were very very sensible with money and I don’t really recall ever getting just cute thoughtful gifts. I think this made me grow up to not care about money but rly crave these stupid gifts. Of course you then end up connecting to a lot of ppl who also don’t give cute things lol and it compounds. I realised it’s actually quite healing to just go out and buy them for yourself :) my parents have actually changed a lot and do do this a lot more now.

I loved this little bunny cake stand and I got a new manifesting pen too. I find having cool pens to work with inspires you to write more. 🥰
