It's a Walk of Faith

The christian walk is a walk of Faith. Our continuous believe in the Lord is what will keep us going forward in this heavenly race. A lot of things the believer will face and experience in his journey of life he must brace with the shield of faith. The things we are willing to do and go through for the sake of Christ is a reflection of our faith for Him. Many times we only think of faith in the context of miracles and healing, which is not out of place, however, it is not limited to just miracles and healings. Our faith is also demonstrates in our works of Righteousness and our stand for God no matter the consequences we may face. The reason why many can exercise faith is because we take our eyes off Jesus and we begin to look at the external things around which sows the seed of doubt and fear in us which in turn kills our faith. When I consider what people will say or do to me for speaking the truth rather than what Jesus will say about me, that's the reason for compromise, and this is applicable in different facets of life. To sustain a living faith everyday, we must learn to take our eyes off the world and the external things that are going on around on and continuously keep our gaze on Jesus. Hebrews 11:32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: Hebrews 11:33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 11:34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. 11:35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: 11:36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: 11:37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; 11:38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. ![f00318eb781b9b81ca20ed914fc17113.jpg]()
