A Soldier is a defender, tested and trained to defend his territory and to wage war against external forces. The soldier of Christ is one whose allegiance belongs to Christ and to Him alone, who daily rise to wage war against the kingdom of darkness and to advance the frontiers of the kingdom of God. He doesn't entangle himself with the affairs of this life that he may please him (Christ) who have chosen him a soldier.
Though the battle may be fierce and burdensome, he never back down from battle for he war not by the strength of his mighty but by the Spirit of His Christ. He keeps on matching forward for victory is assured no matter how long and burdensome the battle maybe.
He glory in nothing, not even in himself, but only on the cross of his Lord; and he wish for nothing more than but to hear his Lord say unto him, "well done".
