A Vision of the Cross

This is a vision by a brother in Christ about the cross that he had on a Sunday morning. It goes like this: While I was praying and preparing to teach I saw a vision: in the vision I saw two men walking up a hill; they were carrying a cross on their shoulders. At the top end of the mountain is heaven, and I saw the Lord with the host of heaven standing for these people to reach the end. I saw that out of the cross proceeded a protective shield that covered each man from the corrosive and polluted atmosphere around them. As they continued their ascent up the mountain, one of them climbing dropped his cross due to it’s weight and as soon as he dropped his cross he was invaded by the corrosive air and he fell down by the way side. This vision depicts the reality of our Christian walk as we journey from earth to heaven. The cross remains our defense against the corruption of this world and our anchor to make it safely to the end (heaven). Shalom
