The Lord have been calling and reaching out to us, but not many of us are responding to his call. Many of us give excuses, many complain, many are occupied with one thing or the other, and as such, not many heed the calling of God.
Truly the calling of God will demand a lot from us, but it is worth everything for it is a high calling. His calling will cost us our time, attention, convenience, resources and even our very life.
The Lord is calling us to intimacy, to the place of prayer, to the place of purging and empowerment where men are made. What's your response?
When the psalmist was called this was his response:
Psalms 27:8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.
What's your response? Only those who heed the call of God and are willing to follow and seek Him will he make. Our Lord Jesus says "follow me and I will make you..."
