Lore
"Night reapers are monstrosities born of a realm of demons and dragons. When their world was subsumed by the dark god Uul, they joined the Host of the legions of Chaos. These malevolent creatures answer to Silus of the Rift alone and unleash their wrath according to his will.

Unpredictable and brutal, night reapers ensure terror reigns wherever they soar and have been a crucial instrument in quelling the rising rebellion in the towns and cities that span the empire’s horizons."

Stats and Abilities

The Night Reaper is a flying unit. At level 1, it deals 3 magic damage, has 4 speed and 9 health. It can be placed in any position because of its stats and abilities. The Night Reaper also has a new ability, Wing Break. This ability makes the Night Reaper always hit flying units first and will deal +2 damage. This means that at level 1 it can deal 5 magic damage to flying units without Void.

A Key Card in Earthquake Ruleset
In the earthquake ruleset, it's very likely that the opponent will field at least one flying unit to play around with the ruleset. This makes the Night Reaper a key card since not only does it fly, it will also target flying units first and will deal large magic damage to them.

My Battles in Earthquake Ruleset
Battle 1
In this battle, I chose the Light team because it has excellent flying units. Together with the Night Reaper and other Dragon flying units I can make a competitive team. I was against higher level units but the Night Reaper delivered. He deals a lot of damage to enemy flying units.

Battle 2
In this battle, the Light Splinter was not available so I chose Death instead. Death has a couple of 0 attack units that has the flying ability. My Rift Wing and Will-O-Wisp are low levels. Luckily I have a Berix Snakeye that has the Weapons Training ability. It gave my 0 attack units 3 ranged damage. This is a game changer because of the large damage my 0 attack units can now deal. As usual, the Night Reaper pulls its weight in this battle as he helped not only in dealing damage but tanked as well when my Zyvax Vuul was eliminated.

In Conclusion
The Night Reaper is a fun new unit to play with. It has great stats and abilities that you will find useful even in other rulesets. It's very versatile and can be a tank, off tank or even play the backline. It can be great in any battle but in Earthquake ruleset is where it truly shines.
