Things To Consider Before Telling Your Customers the Price of Your Products/Services

As an Entrepreneur, what is your response like when a client asks you how much for the price of your products or services? In order to give an effective response to this question, you have to figure out two things: why they are asking that and when they are asking that question. These are two critical things to consider.

They may ask you of your price just to get to the bottom line of the conversation you are having with them about your products or services. Being hasty to answer them at this point denies you the chance of figuring out what your customers truly need which is a requirement needed in order to make sales.

So the right approach to take when asked of the price is to redirect the conversation to finding out what your customers actually needs. Instead of going straight to tell them how much it costs, reply them by telling them it depends on what they are looking for. At this point you find out what they are in search of. After getting this information you then tell them the price.

And when you tell them the price it is important to inquire from them if they are comfortable with it. If they claim that the price is on the high side, you give them reasons why the product or service you offer is perfect for that amount. Most times the buyer actually has the money to pay even if they claim they don't, but depending on how well you convince them is what will move them to buy from you.
