There are some things outside of the design principles we know of that designers still need to practice on a regular. Its always very beautiful to see amazing designs everywhere. Some of them de blow mind.
But some things have helped them over the years to keep designing bear and crazy master piece.
1. Keeping it simple
Simple can mean...focusing on the communication. Making it clear. The focus shouldn't really be on how wonderful and fine the design is. But how effective it is. Having in mind that clients review are different.
Now imagine someone wanting to impress the client now does something complex and then when he submits it the client says he should change this or that. If it is a simple design
It'll take you less time to correct.
But if you made it complex then you'll probably spend a lot of time even almost the same time you used for designing to make corrections.
Keeping it simple is the real deal. Its like an ancient pattern that will definitely remain for a long time.
2. Staying up to date with design trends
As simple as this point is. It takes discipline.
For a designer who is looking to get the attention of high paying clients or good clients as the case may be.
You need to learn this habit. Not just about the clients, also about building your social media account. You see how other trends are going on...Tiktok trends, Twitter and the rest of them.
That someone will just start up something and others will follow. Now, most of the times the person that starts it doesn't start it with intentions of wanting to keep it as a trend o...
But because another person takes it up and then another person and then another person...
A lot of persons will want to know who started it
The same is applicable to designs. Once there's a trend we take part in it and it's even possible that your design will fly because of the trend
Its possible for you to wake up a millionaire 😉
From getting 10 likes to getting 20k like in one day. So following trends helps.
