Masculinity is not a comprehensive definition of what it means to be a man. It's just attributes such as boldness, strength, and aggression. Mostly things related to the external features of a man. Many man mistake these features for the requirements of being a man. But what about nurturing, kindness, long-suffering, patience? Those aren't feminine attributes. Those are human attributes.
And so instead of masculinity or femininity, we should practice humanity. We are so caught in-between gender attributes that we push aside humanity. Like, what do I need to be as a comprehensive of human being? Or better still, a comprehensive man? If the respond to this question is not something that is of benefit to your loved ones, friends, and humanity at large then maybe you need to do some rethinking.
As man man being strong is very much necessary. But while being strong you should also be sensitive. Be courageous but also compassionate. You have to have both because both work hand in hand.
You want to be multifaceted.
