Number eight on my list is wild salmon, also contains that DHA, important omega three fatty acid to help with our brain health. Number nine on my list is spinach.
Now in this 2021 study, it was found that consuming at least 60 milligrams per day of vegetable containing nitrates, so that's about one cup of leafy greens, led to a 17% reduced risk of an event happening in the brain where we have lack of oxygenation and blood flow.
And number 10 on my list is olive oil. Now we know that olive oil loaded with those antioxidants, those polyphenols, really important for protecting our arteries and making sure that we have that proper blood flow to the extremities and especially to the brain.
