I think this is an extremely entertaining movie and it might be the best in the trilogy. Let there be carnage was fun in its own way, but I didn't really enjoy it that much. I felt it was a little too campy and the story just wasn't as coherent as one probably as the most coherent story of all in the franchise. It also has the
best Tom Hardy performance and the best Venom performance of Tom Hardy as Venom.
The dynamic between the two, between Eddie and Venom is just fantastic. They made for a fantastic duo in a superhero franchise. Venom is just one of those characters that you simply love no matter what it does. He is technically a villain or an entire hero, but he's just so lovable at the same time.
This movie is also a lot more heartfelt than the first two or rather heartwarming than the first two and focuses on family and relationships that aren't necessarily
romantic relationships. It's particularly the relationship between Eddie and Venom as well as relationship between all the symbionts. There are a bunch of cool symbionts in this movie, some that add me just feeling some kind of warm feeling in my tummy and it made me excited for the future of the Venom franchise or at least the symbionts.
We all know that Nal is the villain of this movie, but it's not exactly the main villain or he is, but he's just the one pulling the strings sort of almost like Thanos in the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie. The movie is really highly entertaining. I love the action and one thing that I really love is the performances apart from Tom Hardy as Venom and Eddie Brock. We also have two cast members from Ted Lasso and both of them are fantastic.
I know we all think that this movie takes place right after let it be punished, but it actually takes place right after Spider-Man, no way home. After Eddie is taken to the MCU or the 616 universe and when he's drawn back into his own universe, another great thing about this movie is just how fun it is. It doesn't take itself too seriously, but in a good way it knows what it is and it delivers on that.
It's definitely one of the better superhero movies this year if you don't think too much about how great Deadpool and Wolverine was. It's also so entertaining and also the best installment in the SSU or Spider-Man, Sony's Spider-Man universe, a universe from Sony about Spider-Man, but that doesn't have Spider-Man for some reason. I am excited to see where this universe will go.
I think Venom the last dance is the movie that we needed to just get us excited about this part of the Marvel Universe again. So if you have nothing to do this weekend or for the next few weeks, then go check out Venom the last dance. The movie does have two post-credits scenes. The mid-credits scene, I will say, is more important than a post-credits scene, but uno's maybe they will tie in.
I do think both scenes sort of sets up the future of this universe and maybe even future stories with Spider-Man. We know that Venom might actually be coming to the MCU since a piece of Venom stayed back in the main MCU timeline or the main MCU, the sacred timeline. So let me know what you think of this movie after you watch it. I hope I didn't spoil it for you. I tried to keep out as much spoilers as possible. And yeah, enjoy Venom the last dance.
