Assalamu Alaikum. Blurtconnect members, hope everyone is well. Today I am going to share with you my favorite Dhoop Pitha or Vapa Pitha recipe made with sugarcane jaggery and coconut batter. Let's start.
Step - 01
Essential ingredients of pitha
1/ Light rice and boiled rice
2/ A small round bowl
3/ amount of sugarcane molasses
4/ coconut husk
5/ cardamom fruit
Step - 02
To make pita first I soak the rice in water and after soaking dry them well. Now I use a pestle and mortar to make a powder of the rice after drying. Use it to make pita powder.
Step - 03
After making the rice flour for making pita, now I take a medium sized bowl and place the bowl on the shape and add some water in the bowl along with it. After giving water, I take a thin net-shaped cloth and tie the mouth of the pot. And with that I continued to burn Aka.
Step - 04
Now for making pita first I take a small round bowl. After taking the bowl, I started layering the pita ingredients in the bowl. First I add rice powder, add sugarcane jaggery on top and coconut jhurri on top.
Step - 05
After grating the coconut, I add rice powder on top of it and fill the bowl evenly and keep pressing it with my hand so that the bowl is not empty in any way. So that the bowl is filled completely from all sides.
Step - 06
After filling the bowl with all the ingredients, now place it on the griddle I have prepared earlier to make the pita with bhav. And with that I started to burn Aka. The water inside the bones will continue to be heated by burning the bones. And by using the steam that evaporates from there, my vapor pitha or dhoop pitha will be made.
Step - 07
I make all my pithas through this process and finally I put the pithas on a plate and take this picture.
It looks delicious.
