don't you think 50 blurt is too much for account creation

No. I actually think it's too low.My opinion on account creation fee is that they should be low enough to be accessible to someone who really wants an account, but high enough to deter the creation of multiple accounts to use for abusing the platform. It's a delicate balance. The same goes for transaction fees and proposal creation fees.

And I also agree with what @khrom said in his earlier comment.

You can check the wallet's witness page to see the different fees voted for by each of the witnesses. The actual value is the median of the amounts voted for by the top 21 witnesses.

Ok I totally understand meaning if someone actually values the platform then they'll signup and pay the fees.

For me I was looking at the onboarding aspect cause technically we'll be the ones creating the account for them.

Yeah. It's harder to subsidize account creation when it's more expensive.

The core team uses @blurtbooster to subsidize account creation. Part of the curation rewards cover that. And the @blurtbooster account is also used for creating accounts with the JoinBlurt bot in the Discord server.
