Bambara (Vigna subterranea), is a type of legume native to Africa. It's a vital crop in many African countries, particularly in West and Central Africa.

ENUGU STATE of Nigeria is non as the best state when is it comes to getting Bambara flour (OKPA) to it delicious test .
After you have finished grinding your Bambara nut in to flour measure 8 cups of Bambara flour as the case maybe,add
3 cups of Palm oil
3 tablespoons of Salt
2 tablespoons of grounded Pepper
10 cups of Warm water(hot enough for your hand to handle) for mixing
1 tablespoon of uziza powder
You can find the picture of the okpa flour (Bambara nut flour) both grinded and ungrounded

Procedures
✔ Put the powdered okpa in a bowl, add all ingredients listed excluding warm water.
Add 3 cups of warm warm water (remember it's warm water) to the mixture and mix together with ur hand while making sure there are no lumps (you'll notice that the mixture will become drawy, it's totally normal just make sure you use your palm to smash all the lumps)
▲ Gradually add warm water (a cup at a time until you exaust the 10 cups) and mix with ur hand until u arrive at a not too thick or watery mixture (a raw-mixed pap like consistency)

✔ Ur hand should look like that one in the picture
✔You must have put less than half of a medium pot of water on heat while preparing the mixture.
✔ If using nylon remember to leave little or no space and tie tighy...after that put them inside the boiling water in the pot... allow it to boil for about 30-45 mins depending on the quantity of okpa.
