The movie perfectly captured how a momentary event can destroy more than one life and who it affects and in what ways. Even though it has a very static story, the movie has a very painful story and is full of dialogues and scenes that express the difficulty of facing the truth.
The emotions of the characters were successfully reflected to the audience, making them feel the drama down to their bones. The movie had details that deeply affected the audience. At the beginning, I found it strange that the movie focused so much on the lives of two families and I started to think that the movie was boring. With the events that developed later, the story of the lives of these two families was successfully combined and brought together around the same event. It was very, very successful to connect the dots of the movie's story and keep it mysterious for a while.
From the beginning to the end, the movie is about the ordinary flow of life and there is no exaggeration at any moment. In this respect, I found the movie extra successful and I can say that the movie has many teachings.
In terms of reminding us of our responsibilities as individuals who live their lives, I think the movie should be watched with a special eye and attention. I think there are lessons for everyone to learn. I say this in terms of both the victimized lives and the lives that cause victimization. Both sides should empathize and understand each other.
You should definitely watch the movie The Grace Card. You can remove the faith part from the movie or adapt it to your own beliefs. When you do that, I believe you will enjoy it more because I think the focus should be on humanity. We are human beings and we are always prone to make mistakes, but we should know how to face our mistakes and not lose control of ourselves, taking into account the consequences beforehand.
