Any game where there is a risk of losing is gambling. Many sites that come forward with the hope of winning but where there is no other option but to lose, that tend to deceive people with their different appearances; are very popular today and their number is increasing day by day.
Unfortunately, some people who take advantage of the loopholes in the law or the low penalties that do not serve as a deterrent measure, deceive people with weak will; a billion-dollar industry is emerging and the winners of this industry are a number of illegal groups or formations.
I find it very strange that people risk their money when they know they are going to lose, still hoping to win. I will never understand them and I will never understand the thoughts of those who turn a game or a bet that is supposed to be fun into torture for themselves and the people around them with whom they have close relationships.
The 2013 movie Runner Runner has a story that presents gambling from the point of view of both those who play and those who play. I would like to say that I liked the movie very much. The most important reason for this is that it objectively reveals everything in the industry through the characters.
The radical changes such as the path of the gambling sites, the character who suddenly finds himself addicted to gambling while recruiting players for the sites, and then becomes the person who runs the gambling, make the story of the movie absolutely special. I think anyone with even a small gambling addiction should watch the movie because there are lessons to be learned.
Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlenka give outstanding performances as the characters they portray, like forty years of gambling players and operators. They portray the business and customer side of gambling, with its tricks and behind-the-scenes games, so well that they manage to alienate even the gambling enthusiast with a little bit of sense.
Justin Timberlake, who gives life to the character of Richie Fust, who at the beginning of the story finds customers for gambling sites to make money, then becomes a gambling enthusiast himself due to the desperation he falls into, and finally, the process that leads to gambling business, reveals every aspect of this bad habit. He was very successful in terms of his harmony with the character he portrays and the speed with which his character adapts to the new conditions that arise after each radical change.
Ben Affleck's character, Ivan Block, was a great acting performance, with his special lessons on how to ignore the law and how to climb the ladder by crushing others on the way to success. Ben Affleck was definitely the most successful actor in the movie, even though what he did hurt consciences.
The most important lesson he taught was that the winner is always the safe. You may say that we already know this, but I think we should remind ourselves and the people around us often and be vigilant.
I liked the story of the movie and how it was handled, with the characters coming to the fore in a successful way. At one point the movie turned into a personal rivalry between the characters. Those moments were a nice little touch that I think a movie with a gambling theme should have, and they added to the enjoyment of the story. When the rivalry shifted to women, it was like a proof of how love can be a problem in every field.
Runner Runner Fragman
I recommend watching the movie Runner Runner for its teachings alone. At no moment does the story and characters become boring. On the contrary, it draws the audience in with a rising momentum. Immersiveness and revealing the unknowns about gambling were the details that I liked extra. I say watch it without thinking.
Thank you for being here and reading. I wish everyone who will watch the movie a good time and I hope you enjoy it. Goodbye!
