I can say that the production, which skillfully handles deep philosophical themes, is visually far ahead of the first movie. But is it considered a masterpiece? I think the answer to that is no.

It's not that I don't like the movie, but when I compare it to other masterpiece movies, it can be said that the story is still at the beginning of its journey.

The story, which brings the dark side of the vast deserts into our lives in a striking way with its cinematography that can be called magnificent, impressive music, keeps the audience constantly active by strengthening the emotional depth.

Strengthening the emotional depth of the story in this production also makes the story of the first production meaningful. The character of Paul (played by Timothée Chalamet), whose leadership qualities were more evident, seemed to have shed his inexperience (we could say amateurism).

Successfully reflecting both leadership responsibilities and human vulnerabilities, the actor successfully weaves his dilemma and the relationships he tries to keep in balance into the story and the audience through his character.

There is a scene of riding a giant worm on the sand, definitely worth seeing!

While the character of Chani (played by Zendaya) was more prominent in this movie, her relationship with Paul was the element that added warmth to the story, which I found important. Sometimes a little touch can make a story more intimate. Zendaya managed to do this with the character of Chani and added value to the romantic aspect of the story.

One of the details that made the story of the movie strong was the way the action and drama scenes were balanced. While the battle scenes contribute to the fluidity, the emotional moments deepen the story in a way that will leave a mark.

I try not to talk about the endings of the movies I watch as much as possible, but in Dune: Part Two because the ending of the movie not only winked at the third movie, but also gave me the good news that there will be a new movie.
