The Two-Minute Rule: Avoid Procrastination on Small Tasks
This technique was mentioned in the previous topic so i won't discuss it in details again , i will just explain it in a shallow manner and then say few things about it.
This technique was actually developed by David Allen wo is a productivity expert, this Two-Minute Rule is just trying to explain to us that any task that won't take more than two minutes should be completed immediately.
With the help of this rule , professionals are able to clear small tasks as quickly as possible and prevent them from compiling.
A perfect example of this can be seen below
- Respond to quick emails or messages.
- File documents.
- Make short phone calls or schedule appointments.
Like i said in the introductory part, procastination can be avoided greatly using this method , it also helps to free more time with which you can use to relax or invest in another productive activity.
