There have been so many things said about life and deaths and mamy dont really understamd yet, if there's anything like life after death. What does that mean?
In my understanding:
Life after death is a time when a person dies, his body drops/remains on earth, while his spirit returns to God then his soul goes to another superficial environment called "a place of judgement", at that point, the person is meant to give an account on how he lived his life on earth.
If there is a good record about you? Heaven is your new Home and if there is a bad record of you, Hell is your new home. For your soul to have stand in the place of judgement, there must be a home for it (ie the heaven or the hell).
A lot of people, even theologians have bring in more complications towards the whole truth which makes people believe that there's only heaven where both those who do good and bad dwells forever.
