If there is actually something that makes our world beautiful and fulfilled, I will say it is love. Our world generally will be filled with so much vaccum if we lack the love that should beautify our world. And when I am talking about love, I am not talking about love because of self interest, I mean pure and genuine love.
On several occasions, we have heard and even seen people enter relationship and the relationship are actually doing quite well at first probably because they are still seeing themselves. Suddenly, they discovered that there is an issue most especially when they did not have the opportunity to be seeing themselves like before again.
The distance factor have become a popular issue affecting a lot of relationships and even marriage because distance especially the long distance one test the bonds that exist between the partners. Some were actually able to survive the test and some were not able to survive the test at the end of the day, their relationship crumbled.
I have this friend of my many years ago who fall in love with a beautiful lady. They were seeing themselves and you could tell that their bond that exists between them was so strong. But fate will happen to both of them, they actually need to depart. His girlfriend suddenly got a scholarship to study abroad. If I can still remember vividly, I think it was Canada.
My friend then knowing fully well that there seems to be a risk but at the same time, he can't stop her from going for the scholarship. To cut the story short, one thing led to the other, their bond begins to reduce. Most of the time, the young lady after arriving in Canada begins to claim to be busy every time my friend calls her.
At the end of the day, the relationship crumbled. The lady asked for a break and that is how both of them went their separate ways. Well, that does not mean long distance relationship does not get sustained. But it is not always common.
I have also heard series of people experience about their long distance relationship and what I will just say is the fact that everything still point down to personal commitments to your partner. No matter how long the distance might be, as far as you have made the personal commitment that this will not affect your relationship with your partner, I am so sure that it can't.
There have been long distance relationship that have worked and will continue to worked irrespective of how it is. It all depends on putting some certain things in place to continue to sustain the relationship. Things like patience, communication and generally a heart of trust. If these three things are put in place, I am so sure that it will continue to work whether it is short or long distance relationship. One of the things I have always known about relationships is the fact that distance cannot separate hearts.
