Hello, Blurt friends! I hope all is well and you are all happy. As for me I am good, smiling at whatever life throws at me.

Today I will be sharing with you this wonderful time I had with my kids while we were baking banana cake. It was the second day of the year 2022 when I and my kids were left at home by my husband for work. I did not have to go to work at that time so I baked banana cakes instead.

Using the recipe I found online, I made banana cake using a lakatan variety of banana which my sister and brother in law brought home days before the holiday season.

To make a banana cake, I peeled that banana, sliced them thinly and beat with an electric mixer. I mixed it with eggs, flour, water, milk and baking powder and baked in the oven for 45 minutes. My kids were helping me with the baking too, and they are just wonderful!

I really like baking that's why I kept borrowing my sister's oven. But now, the ingredients are too pricey to buy and make every weekend.

Since we could not finish the cake, I decided to wrap it and ask my husband to take to his mother to enjoy.
