A group of fraudsters are taking control of Gmail users' accounts using artificial intelligence (AI) technology. They are sending fake phone calls and e-mails through AI using Google name to fool Gmail users. In this regard, Sam Mitrovic, the founder of Cloud Joy and a cyber security researcher, said that recently, a fraudster made a fake call using the identity of a Google employee through AI technology to steal various information including the password of his Google account. The caller ID of the phone call made by AI appears as 'Google Sydney'. Not only that, they also sent fake recovery e-mails. It is possible to easily cheat others through such phone calls and e-mails.
