Does it annoy you that when you click on a link in someone's article to another piece of content on blurt, it takes you to the FE that the author uses?
Would you like your readers to stay on their frontends after clicking on your link, regardless of which link they use?
there is a simple way to do this:
When publishing a link to other content, simply use markdown to omit the domain in the address you are linking to:
Instead of this:
[About wordpress plugin](https://blurt.intinte.org/blog/@khrom/5n6ouw-do-you-or-someone-you-know-have-a-wordpress-blog-if-so-check-it-out)
Write it like this:
[About wordpress plugin](/@khrom/5n6ouw-do-you-or-someone-you-know-have-a-wordpress-blog-if-so-check-it-out)
Test the effect yourself while on a different FE than https://blurt.intinte.org:
- First link:
About wordpress plugin - Second link:
About wordpress plugin
Thanks to this solution, you not only make the user stay inside their preferred frontend but also save on kb/fee:
So only advantages.
Of course, this solution works only for links inside the blurt network. All external links to other domains than those based on the blurt network will be invalid.
Greetings to all and I hope this tip will be useful!
I'm doing this just for the 0.012 savings! Thanks!
