This location served as the dragon dungeon in the Game of Thrones series.
During the initial COVID lockdown in Split, I had ample time to explore the city extensively. I wandered through every nook and cranny, consistently stumbling upon new discoveries each day. Although I hadn't yet watched the Game of Thrones series at that point, I had the opportunity to visit some of the filming locations.
My accommodation was in the ancient Palast, dating back to the Roman empire. Starting from the Port, I traversed catacombs to reach the historic center. Repeatedly, I roamed these paths, only realizing later that this was the very dungeon where the dragons were depicted in Game of Thrones.
The Palast, originating around 300 A.D., offered an adventurous experience as I meandered through its historic grounds. Fortunate timing during the COVID lockdown meant I could appreciate it in solitude.
I deeply miss Split; the period I spent there was truly enchanting and unforgettable. I intend to return someday. I extend my gratitude to everyone who contributed to my wonderful stay. Thank you for the memorable moments.
