At around 1:40 PM, we finally arrived at "My Beach Resort," nestled between Ao Yon and Khao Khad, where the soft sands stretched into the distance, meeting the turquoise waves. As soon as we stepped out of the car, the sea’s salty air filled our lungs, bringing with it a sense of calm.

The hotel stood right on the beach, offering a perfect view of the vast ocean. After checking in, the staff guided us to our room, which was conveniently close to the lobby. As we walked, the sound of the waves grew louder, heightening my anticipation. Once we reached the door, I took a deep breath and opened it, and immediately, a wave of surprise washed over me. Even though I had seen pictures of the room before booking, nothing could compare to seeing it with my own eyes.

The room was far more beautiful than I had imagined. It was incredibly spacious, with modern decor that blended seamlessly with the natural surroundings. A large bed stood at the center, perfectly positioned to face the sea. The floor-to-ceiling windows allowed the breathtaking view to flood the room, making it feel like an extension of the beach itself.

As I stood there, I realized how perfect this trip was going to be. No matter when I woke up, the first thing I would see would be the tranquil sea stretching out before me, its endless horizon inviting peace and serenity. This was the experience I had been longing for, and it was even better than I had ever hoped.

The room also featured a very wide balcony, and as I stepped outside, I was instantly captivated by its design. At the edge of the balcony, a large, round sofa was perfectly placed for lounging and taking in the panoramic view of the sea. It was the ideal spot to relax, with the breeze carrying the scent of saltwater and the sound of waves gently crashing below. I could already picture myself spending hours there, soaking in the beauty of the ocean.

Opposite the sofa was another delightful surprise—a large bathtub, strategically positioned so that you could sink into its warm waters while gazing out at the endless horizon. The idea of unwinding in the bath, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature and the sight of the vast blue sea, felt like pure luxury. There was truly nothing more enjoyable than this—an experience that promised complete relaxation and bliss.

Near the bed, there was a spacious bathroom that instantly caught my attention. It had both wet and dry zones, thoughtfully designed for comfort and practicality. What stood out the most was the clear glass wall that separated the bathroom from the rest of the room, allowing a seamless connection with the outside view. From the shower, I could look out and see the beautiful scenery beyond the room, bringing the sense of being close to nature even indoors.

Of course, for privacy, there were blinds that could be drawn when needed, offering the perfect balance between openness and discretion. I couldn’t help but admire the design—it was sleek, modern, and exactly the kind of bathroom I love. The glass gave it a light, airy feel, and being able to catch glimpses of the sea even from inside made it feel all the more luxurious.

After unpacking and exploring the room, we decided to change clothes and head to the hotel’s cafe. It was a beautiful spot, right by the beach, where the sound of the waves and the gentle sea breeze created the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing afternoon. We had visited this cafe once a few months ago, and I had been looking forward to returning ever since.

The hotel itself was designed to blend seamlessly with the natural landscape, built gradually along the hillside, with each level leading down towards the beach. Our room, located on the top floor, offered the best sea view, but it was also the furthest from the beach. Still, the view was worth every step—endless blue ocean stretching out before us.

The hotel offered a variety of rooms at different price points, each with its own unique appeal. Initially, I had wanted to stay in one of the rooms with a private swimming pool, but those didn’t come with a sea view. In the end, we had to choose between the pool or the view, and I’m glad we opted for the view—it felt like we had the ocean right at our doorstep.
