This temple is called Wat Ban Ko Sirey located at Koh Sirey, which is next to the sea a fishing village, and not far from the jetty as well. This temple is located on the top of the hill of Koh Sirey. It is a temple that was born from the faith of the Mon people who live in Phuket and the villagers helped to build this temple for worship.

*วัดนี้เรียกว่าวัดบ้านเกาะสิเหร่ ตั้งอยู่ที่เกาะสิเหร่ติดชายทะเล เป็นหมู่บ้านชาวประมง และอยู่ไม่ไกลจากท่าเทียบเรืออีกด้วย วัดนี้ตั้งอยู่บนยอดเขาเกาะสิเหร่ เป็นวัดที่เกิดจากความเชื่อของชาวมอญที่อาศัยอยู่ที่จังหวัดภูเก็ต และชาวบ้านช่วยกันสร้างวัดแห่งนี้ขึ้นด้วยความศรัทธา

เมื่อขับรถเข้าไปภายในวัดก็จะเห็นพนักงานต้อนรับ ชาย-หญิง ยืนต้อนรับนักท่องเที่ยวและประชาชนที่มาทำบุญและเที่ยวที่วัดแห่งนี้ พนักงานต้อนรับ ชาย-หญิงคู่นี้ คนไทยเรียกว่า "เปรต" เป็นภูตผีที่ครั้งยังมีชีวิตอยู่ได้กระทำความชั่ว เมื่อตายไปก็จะกลายเป็นเปรตที่มีรูร่างสูงใหญ่ มือและเท้าใหญ่ไม่สามารถหยิบจับสิ่งของได้ ส่วนปากก็จะเล็กเท่ารูเข็ม ไม่สามารถทานอาหารหรือพูดได้ ต้องใช้ชีวิตหลังความตายด้วยความทุกข์ทรมาน การสร้างมายาคติของชาวพุทธเพื่อไม่ให้มนุษย์นั้นทำบาป

So I walked in and talked with her. She said that in the evening she would bring food to the cats at the temple daily. Because here many cats are released to the temple. There are monks to take care of them, but because many cats are making they are unable to take good care of them. So I gave her some money to help buy cat food. This is a tired and happy viewing at the same time.
