Butter is such a fun thing to experiment with when it comes to adding flavours to it! Whether you are going to use it for cooking, to season with or just eat on bread or crackers - the options are just endless! So, I thought I would share a VERY tasty butter I discovered some time back in a braai recipe book.
The first time I made this butter, I used it to coat mielies (corn) which we cooked on the open flame, but it is such a delicious butter that it can literally be used for anything and everything.
Lime, Chilli and Coriander Butter
It is literally a matter of mixing all the ingredients together...
• Butter (obviously)
• A spoon of Garlic
• A spoon of chilli jam (or chopped fresh chillies)
• The grated rind and juice of one lime
• A handful of freshly chopped coriander
• Salt and Pepper (go easy on the salt if you are using salted butter)
#It is delicious! Enjoy!!
❤❤❤
Until next time...
