Pork Tenderloin in Mustard Sauce

One of the things I always look for when cooking is simple recipes
that save time and are practical.

At home we like to eat a lot of vegetables and legumes. Roasted cuts of meat are a good alternative because they can be served with these side dishes. Sometimes you can make delicious sandwiches or even salads with a few pieces of these meats.

Today I would like to share my recipe for Pork Tenderloin in Mustard Sauce.
It is a recipe where the pork is cooked slowly so that it is tender and juicy.


Ingredients

2 pounds pork tenderloin
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons mustard paste
1 tablespoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup water
Salt and pepper to taste

Step 1

Season pork loin with mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt and pepper.
Spread the dressing well over the pork tenderloin.

Step 2

Preheat the oil and brown the tenderloin on both sides.

Step 3

When the pork is browned, add 1 cup of water, cover and cook low heat for 2 hours.

Step 4

Remove from heat and allow to cool. Slice the pork. Dissolve the cornstarch in the remaining stock in the saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is slightly thickened. Rectify salt and turn off.

I like to accompany these slices of pork tenderloin with boiled potatoes because it is in this way that I can enjoy the full flavor of the sauce.

If pork loin is left over, I save it for later to make a sandwich with vegetables.
