If you study my creativity on the Internet, then you will think that I used to be an excellent student in school, an athlete and a rebel. But actually, I used to be a ballerina.
I danced with an ensemble and solo. In international competitions and at many concerts. I studied to be a ballerina at a special college.
I danced for 12 hours a day, and sat on the splits for 2 hours a day. Well, you understand how difficult this art is. But then something happened that ended my ballet career...
I grew up. Yes, the bitter truth of all professional female athletes and ballerinas is that after the age of 20, their body begins to put on weight as it prepares to become a mother. But this fat is completely unnecessary on stage! And so I was kicked out of the ensemble when my thighs got 3 centimeters thicker.
Then I was left with a broken heart and hopelessness in my heart. I learned the bitter truth of life and decided to fight against this system, which broke my dream - to be a ballerina.
Now I fully accept my fate, but I still have dreams where I fly on the stage like a little butterfly...
It is so sad, that we live in a world, where woman lose their worth as they age. . .I honestly think it is due to the fact, that in fact woman get more powerful and more in their power as they age, so as the world got to see this, and man got threatened, they found a way to take away their power by creating all this BS to show that we are worthless after a certain age. Maybe you can create a ballet for women of all age group. I am sure so many would be over the moon. I would totally join. xxx
