Understand the difference between low quality news and high quality, serious, pivoting news. There's a monumental difference. There's so much noise in the market.

Everybody's trying to monetize attention. I don't know if you knew this, but when it comes to the blogs, they drop like 25 articles a day. Think about that for a second.

How the heck are they dropping 20, 15, 25 articles a day?

It's because they're writing very low quality pieces of content. Think about it for a second. They're just getting it out there because they get paid based off the views. So the blog writer gets incentivized if they get more views, meaning they drop more content. So a lot of times there's no content out there. There is no news and they're kind of making it up out of thin air to get more views.

This is the current state of all social media and the Internet. So as a researcher, you have to essentially be able to shift through the noise.

It's like finding a needle in a haystack to understand what's real and what's not for your investment thesis if you want entertainment yeah there's a whole bunch of entertainment but I'm talking about real research.

For your real investment because that money is real you need to pay attention this is the number one habit I would adopt, I would just understand how to like ignore 90 of the noise.
