Remember to Register the Warranty when Your Purchase the Harddrives on Amazon

in blog •  4 years ago

A few weeks ago, I purchased 3 WD harddrives and 1 Sandisk SSD from Amazon. Amazon offers a 1month free no-reason return - and also you can contact the Amazon product support online to get help if your harddisks are failing within 1 years frame.

To get extended support and product care (repair of replacement) you have to register the warranty with the manufacturer. You would need the S/N of the harddrives which can be obtained by looking at the HDD labels or the CrystalDiskInfo software:

Then you need to fill the purchase details on the warranty registration website:

Once you register, you will receive an email and also be able to login to the product website to view your warranty.
