Support for Node.js 14 in Azure Functions is ending on 30 June 2024

On 30 June 2024, support for Node.js 14 in Azure Functions will end. The existing workloads and apps that are hosted on Functions will continue to run, but Azure is no longer provide updates or customer service for Node.js 14.

Node.js 14 has reached end-of-life on 30 April 2023. While Node.js 14 will continue to be supported on the Functions platform until 30 June 2024, we need to upgrade to Node.js 18 if we face any underlying issues with the language itself. To ensure that the Functions apps are supported, we need to upgrade them to Node.js 18 by 30 June 2024.

Required action

To avoid any potential service disruptions or security vulnerabilities in the Functions apps (Serverless Application), please upgrade to Node.js 18 by 30 June 2024.
